Members of the public are afforded time, subject to reasonable constraints, to address the Illinois Commerce Commission at meetings that are open to the public (220 ILCS 5/2-107; see the Commission rule [2 Ill. Adm. Code 1700.10]External Link).

Guidelines to Speak Before the Commission

  1. You must Submit a written request to the Chief Clerk of the Commission at least 24 hours prior to the Commission meeting at which you wish to speak.
  2. Your request to speak must contain, the person's name and address, the name of the group you represent, and summary of what you want to say
  3. You may use the attached Public Participation Request Form.
