The NOI manager, in response to a request from the Citizens Utility Board to extend the time for the submission of comments, has changed the original dates for submission of comments and recommendations. The new dates are:

Submission of initial comments (pursuant to Sec. 1700.340 (b)): September 14, 2004

Submission of reply comments (pursuant to Sec. 1700.340 (c)): September 24, 2004

NOI Manager submits recommendations (pursuant to Sec. 1700.360 (b)): October 22, 2004

The Illinois Commerce Commission has initiated a Notice of Inquiry proceeding (04-NOI-01) to gather information on whether there is a need for expedited proceedings in complaint cases seeking a cease and desist order pursuant to Section 19-120 of the Public Utlities Act [220 ILCS 5/19-120].

The Notice of Inquiry includes a number of questions and information as to how all interested persons may respond; any supplemental questions that are added later will be posted to the same web site. The Notice of Inquiry proceeding is not a formal docketed proceeding nor is it a rulemaking; information gathered may or may not form the basis for the initiation of a rulemaking or for other action at a later date.
