I just heard that you okayed a raise from us to Ameren. I think we just need to fire the whole darn bunch of you people.

This is just ridiculous that you keep giving a company more and more of our money while their profits keep going up and up. You know if I had a business and wanted to improve it and kept raising my prices to pay for the improvements then I would soon have no customers.

Why do you do this to us? You are supposed to be watching out for us? Our phone, internet, cable gas and power bills just keep going up and every time this happens so do the taxes that are attached to these.
This needs to STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP!
    Can you hear me now?

Why would you allow Ameren to increase their prices. In the past, businesses saved money and then expanded. You are allowing them to collect the money and then expand (their profit margin). Unbelievable.

I am a member of a large farm family in East Central
Illinois. We are honored to own and manage some
of the most productive farm land in Illinois.
As an operator and owner I feel that this transmission
line will interrupt our farms and devalue the land.
I have been attending several meetings with
area farm families and have read and have had
    your project explained to me.
I believe that you are grossly leaving out common
sense and will waste public money for your
cause and not considering the productivity
    or land and their owners.
This project smells bad and our area is determined
to explore and get to the root of your misguided
    plan.
I wonder how you would feel if you were a landowner and Farmer?

Ameren Illinois is a terrible monopoly and needs to be stopped. I was blatantly told that if I do not like their service I have to move to another area.
The idea that such monopoly is going on without any restriction is beyond me.
I will do everything in my power to fight Ameren Illinois.

I oppose any rate hikes. Being a single mother, with one income, I can barely afford to pay what it expected now. If anything, I think the rates should be forced lower. I am sure if there was a petition, everyone would agree.

Can anyone be surprised? Ameren has run off a large number of customers, on the electric side of things by charging way more than the should. Other companies have come in and been able to sell electricity cheaper than Ameren, using Amerens own power lines! How does that work? If the ICC thinks that Ameren needs a raise for Natural gas, then please give us the same choice we have with electricity. Let other companies come in and compete for our business! Ameren has run over us long enough!

I am opposed to the proposed rate increase for Ameren.

This gas rate hike is totally insane, and uncalled for!Every time we as Ameren customers, turn around we are being fleeced of our limited income.Money is tight for the most of us.Unemployment is high, and families are just barely getting by now.I look at this, rate hike as selfish greed!More money, more money!ENOUGH is ENOUGH!

When does it stop? My husband has retired recently and I am looking to do the same in the near future butam concerned about the very real possibility og having to make some very real hard decisions og whether to eat or keep warm. If utility costs keep increasing many Illinois residents will be making that difficult decision. Also when did Chicago become exempt from the state of Illinois? What happens downstate sesidents should be applied to Chicago residents. last time i checked we all LIve in the state of Illinois! When does it stop?
