Case Number: 13-0115

  • December 20, 2013

We have just become aware that the approved MZK Route from the Kansas Substation to the Mount Zion Substation bisects our land in Piatt County (Eastern half of SW 1/4 and Western half of SE 1/4 of S25, T16N, R4E). We received no prior notice of this alignment. The notice we received affected our parcel in Moultrie County (parts of S16, S17, S20, and S21 of T15N, R5E). Further, none of the proposed routes came near the Piatt County, so we would have had no reasonable belief our Piatt County property would have been impacted and no reasonable need to intervene. Due to the smaller nature of the parcel in Piatt County, this new MZK alignment has a disproportionate impact on the value of the parcel.

We are considering our options at this time but request that you reconsider this alignment for lack of notice, especially given that Piatt County was never listed on the initial petition.

    Dear Ms. Rolando:

We, Clarita Anderson, Robert Cramer, Michael Cramer and Linda (George, Deceased) Cramer are owners of 157 acres of land in Section 16 of Kickapoo Township, Peoria County, Illinois.

At the present time Ameren towers are on the easterly side of our 157 acres along the fence line bordering Pleasure Driveway & Park District. Rather than negotiate with the four Cramer heirs and R Schmitt (17 acres), D Schmitt sold to Ken Clark (29 acres) and James Agatucci (37 acres), we suggest you run the line, just across the fence, through the back end of the Peoria Park District thereby dealing with only one landowner.

If you have any questions, we may be reached at 309-696-3100 (Bob Cramer) or 309-691-7255 (Clarita Anderson).

    Clarita J Anderson
