I'm unhappy with the rate that Aqua Illinois is being allowed to charge the customers. My recent bill is $138.51, which over the course of a year, is higher than my gas and electric bills. I would like the ICC to consider this when future rate increases are requested by Aqua.

Aqua Illinois is gouging customers in Ivanhoe for water and sewer service. New charges are in excess of 300% of past charges. The ICC must re-review their decision to allow for such an increase, if it cares about Illinois consumers. Rate shock is not adequate to describe the effect of Aqua's charges. Rather, this company has been allowed, by the ICC, to become a " Robber Barron. " Home owners in Ivanhoe are unable to get water from another source. The Aqua monopoly must be regulated, fairly, by the ICC. An immediate increase of 300+% is not fair.

I am not satisfied with the ICC approving this rate increase. A 20% rate increase is unacceptable.

We have poor water and many times, aqua's water is yellowish and leaves crust behind in the showers. We have to purchase water, so we are paying double by having to buy our water.

We have an almost $60 sewer bill, but never see them doing anything with that. Never cleared out or maintained.

I don't agree with this increase!
