WE ARE ON A FIXED INCOME. PEOPLE ON FIXED INCOMES DON'T HAVE A LOT OF CASH TO SPARE. IT IS DIFFICULT TO STAY COMFORTABLE IN YOUR HOME WITH UTILITY BILLS SO HIGH. I THINK IT IS IRRESPONSIBLE FOR AMEREN TO ASK FOR A RATE INCREASE WHEN SO MANY PEOPLE ARE HURTING. THEY ALREADY HAD A LARGE PROFIT LAST YEAR WITH THE RATES THE WAY THEY ARE. I AM OPPOSED TO ANY FURTHER RATE INCREASE FOR AMEREN.
