    Ruling

Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to 83 Ill. Adm. Code 200.875, this post-record data request is being issued by the Administrative Law Judges (“ALJs”) and seeks certain calculations and numerical analyses. The Peoples Gas Light and Coke Company (“Peoples Gas”) and North Shore Gas Company (“North Shore”) (together, the “Utilities”) are directed to provide a set of schedules showing the rates, by rate classification, that would result if the conclusions in the Proposed Order regarding revenues, operating expenses, rate base, rate of return, cost of service, and rate design were adopted. \\ Notice is also given by the ALJs that the Utilities are directed to provide a set of schedules, by rate classification, showing a "typical bill" under the conclusions contained in the Proposed Order. For each "typical bill" schedule, the Utilities shall identify, for each rate classification, the typical customer usage assumptions used in the calculations. The percentage change in the “typical bill” from that under existing rates shall be provided as well. If they wish, the Utilities may choose to provide additional schedules showing "typical bills" for customers using relatively low amounts of utility service and relatively high amounts of utility service for each rate classification. If the Utilities choose to provide such additional schedules, they are directed to state the assumed usage level in the schedules provided. \\ Notice is further given by the ALJs that any party other than the Utilities may choose to provide a response to this ruling containing the calculations and analyses described above. The filing date for the Utilities and any other party that chooses to respond to this ruling is December 29, 2014. The filing date for any reply to responses is January 5, 2015. All responses and replies thereto shall be verified and filed with Chief Clerk of the Commission and all other parties of record to this proceeding. Any party that files a response and/or reply is directed to provide an electronic copy of the response and/or reply to the ALJs by 5:00 P.M. on the date the response or reply is due.
