Members of the public are afforded time, subject to reasonable constraints, to address the Illinois
Commerce Commission at meetings that are open to the public (220 ILCS 5/2-107;
see the Commission rule [2 Ill. Adm. Code 1700.10]).
Guidelines to Speak Before the Commission
- You must Submit a written request to the Chief Clerk of the Commission at least 24 hours prior to the Commission meeting at which you wish to speak.
- Your request to speak must contain, the person's name and address, the name of the group you represent, and summary of what you want to say
- You may use the attached Public Participation Request Form.
