Electricity Procurement Process for Plan Years Beginning June 2012

Section 16-111.5 of the Illinois Public Utilities Act contains various provisions relating to the procurement of electricity by the largest of Illinois' electric utilities. This page will provide links to the procurement plan case files on the Commission’s eDocket system and to the procurement administrator(s) web site(s). Later, this page will post notices of procurement event results. Finally, this page will be used to post documents relating to the retrospective informal hearing process pursuant to Section 16-111.5(o) that will take place sometime around June 2012.

Note: All comments submitted to the Illinois Power AgencyExternal Link (“IPA”) should be specific, supported by data or other detailed analyses, and, if objecting to all or a portion of the procurement plan, accompanied by specific alternative wording or proposals. All comments shall be posted on the Agency's and Commission's websites. Comments to the Draft Plan should be submitted in the following manner.

    • Tuesday, September 13, 2011: Chicago at the Illinois Commerce Commission, 160 North LaSalle, 8th Floor Main Hearing Room from 10am – 1pm. Please note that the webcast will not be available for this meeting.
